Our Culture

Office and Facilities

Our office is located on the 7th floor of TGU Tower  at Asiatown I.T. Park, Cebu City. Each of us has our own workstation but we all share one big room with a nice view. We have an awesome pantry where lunch is served every day. If we need some caffeine kick, we brew a good cup of coffee in our espresso machine.

Some of us often ride a bike to go to work but bicycle racks are not popular in Cebu City yet, so we allow our bikers to keep their bikes in our storage room. We also have a treadmill for our runners who are training or nursing an injury, or for anybody in the office who simply wants to sweat it out.

Our office is not grand but we try to create a work space that motivates us to be productive and makes us look forward to go to work.

Activities

Camaraderie is greatly valued here in Caresharing. We started out as a start-up company of friends and as we expanded, we organized company activities that builds this same kind of good relationship among colleagues.  Here are our company activities:

  • Lunch in the Office: For convenience, we make sure there’s always food, snacks and coffee in our pantry.
  • Movie Nights: If a must-see movie or blockbuster is playing on the big screen, we go on a company trip to the cinema. Bringing a date is highly encouraged.
  • Monthly Birthday Celebrations: We dine in good restaurants  to proclaim our coming of age.
  • Pizza or KFC Treat: We do this occasionally to reward ourselves if we had a very busy week.
  • DOTA challenge:  To fight stress we sometimes play DOTA. The winning team earns bragging rights for one week or two days, it depends on how soon they get challenged and defeated.
  • Simple Parties in the Office: When a major milestone occurs to somebody, say, getting married, having a baby, or migrating to another country, we organize small celebrations in our office.
  • Bi-annual Excursions: One of our pleasure trips is a family day at a relaxing beach every December. It’s a big celebration with lots of food, games, and swimming.  The other one is a recommendation from majority of us.
